Oracle Cloud Infrastructure v1.41.0 published on Wednesday, Jun 19, 2024 by Pulumi
This data source provides details about a specific Ipv6 resource in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Core service.
Gets the specified IPv6. You must specify the object’s OCID. Alternatively, you can get the object by using ListIpv6s with the IPv6 address (for example, 2001:0db8:0123:1111:98fe:dcba:9876:4321) and subnet OCID.
Example Usage
import * as pulumi from "@pulumi/pulumi";
import * as oci from "@pulumi/oci";
const testIpv6 = oci.Core.getIpv6({
ipv6id: testIpv6OciCoreIpv6.id,
});
import pulumi
import pulumi_oci as oci
test_ipv6 = oci.Core.get_ipv6(ipv6id=test_ipv6_oci_core_ipv6["id"])
package main
import (
"github.com/pulumi/pulumi-oci/sdk/go/oci/Core"
"github.com/pulumi/pulumi/sdk/v3/go/pulumi"
)
func main() {
pulumi.Run(func(ctx *pulumi.Context) error {
_, err := Core.GetIpv6(ctx, &core.GetIpv6Args{

Using getIpv6
Two invocation forms are available. The direct form accepts plain arguments and either blocks until the result value is available, or returns a Promise-wrapped result. The output form accepts Input-wrapped arguments and returns an Output-wrapped result.
function getIpv6(args: GetIpv6Args, opts?: InvokeOptions): Promise<GetIpv6Result>
function getIpv6Output(args: GetIpv6OutputArgs, opts?: InvokeOptions): Output<GetIpv6Result>

The following arguments are supported:
getIpv6 Result
The following output properties are available:
- Compartment
Id string - The OCID of the compartment containing the IPv6. This is the same as the VNIC's compartment.
- Dictionary<string, object>
- Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags. Example:
{"Operations.CostCenter": "42"}
- Display
Name string - A user-friendly name. Does not have to be unique, and it's changeable. Avoid entering confidential information.
